Meet the Owner

Kaytie Labik is a certified equine and canine sports massage therapist based in Western Pennsylvania. She holds certification through Equissage, Inc. and is also a member of the International Association of Animal Massage Therapists. She believes in the partnerships of massage therapists with owners, veterinarians, farriers and other animal professionals in order to provide individualized care for your pet. Doing this keeps them healthy, safe and performing at their absolute best.

Kaytie has been an equestrian since a very young age and began to compete at 7 years old. She worked as the assistant trainer at Darby Downs Equestrian Center for about 10 years where she trained OTTB for dressage, jumping and cross-country. Horses have always been her passion and an important aspect in her life. She also worked as an emergency and critical care veterinary technician at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center for four years.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duquesne University in August 2017. In 2020, she also completed a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management with a concentration in Conservation Biology; also at Duquesne University. Kaytie plans on continuing onto veterinary school in hopes of becoming an equine/large animal veterinarian. She has an overall goal of opening a rehabilitation clinic for injured sport and racehorses implementing techniques such as sports massage, acupuncture and hydrotherapy.
